I look to the mountains for strength and courage. ๐ŸŒ„

Sublime with Rome in el paso!

As reported by the BBC, the refugee situation in South Sudan is worsening, with 2,000 children per day entering the refugee camps along the border with Sudan.
Image: JAMAM, SOUTH SUDAN - MARCH 2012: At Jamam refugee camp dozens of thirsty children dig deep holes and caves into the parched earth to scoop up cups of muddy water.  The Jaman camp, in Upper Nile State, South Sudan, houses 36,500 people who have fled across the border from their homes in Blue Nile state to escape the ongoing fighting between Khartoum’s government troops and the Sudanese Peoples Liberation Army. Water is desperately scarce in the camp and as people form long lines at taps, frustration and fights break out.  (Photo by Tom Stoddart/Reportage by Getty Images for the ICRC)

Recycling at its finestโ€ฆ

wellynx:

Just half of Americans recycle daily, and 13 percent don’t recycle at all. Most people recognize the benefits of recycling, but they’re often not sure which items can be recycled and find the process inconvenient and time-consuming.

— college grads and adults 55+ on either coast recycle the most
— but these demographics are still unclear on what can and cannot be recycled (most think crayons and greasy pizza boxes are acceptable)
— even though people understand recycling’s benefits, many still don’t participate
